Cody Clark
Founder / President / CEO

Cody Clark, as President of Global Energy Inspections (GEI), brings a unique top-to-bottom perspective to the company's senior management. Mr. Clark has spent more than fifteen years in the oil and gas production industry. This experience includes serving as a mechanic, floorman, motorman, derickman, driller, rig manager, superintendent, district manager and HSE. Mr. Clark has also personally been involved in the construction of over 300 drilling rigs. This diverse background serves as a unique resource offered to each of GEI's customers and clients.

Being a former Aero Scout pilot with the U.S. Army and a veteran of two wars, Mr. Clark has a solid and highly-respected reputation for integrity and uncompromising principles when dealing with various private and government agencies. Through vision and determination, Mr. Clark has paved the way for safer and greater operational efficiency for all who have come in contact with him and his team.



Troy Ellis
Director of Field Operations

Troy Ellis is the Director of Field Operations and will oversee the establishment of long-term value for Global Energy Inspections from customers, markets, and relationships as well as make strategic field assessments to ensure operational consistency. Mr. Ellis will also provide follow up support to clients and their customers to assist in gap closure plans recommended by our inspectors and specialists. 

Prior to coming to GEI, Mr. Ellis performed many tasks in the oil and gas industry covering fifteen years. He began on the upstream side as a roughneck, working his way up to the position of Assistant Driller. In 2005, marked a change in career direction in Health, Safety, and Environment [HSE] as an Operational Safety Trainer working his way up to the position of HSE Coordinator for one of the largest drilling contractor in North America, with a brief stent in Human Resources. Mr. Ellis left the larger sector to assist in building a comprehensive safety program along with a quality management system for a new and upcoming drilling contractor. Once fulfilling his agreement with one of his previous mentors, he moved on to work with the Global Rig Startup Team at Shell. Working under the guidance and mentorship of the many Subject Matter Experts at Shell enabled him to capture a firm understanding of process safety and asset Integrity management.

Mr. Ellis is one of only a handfull of people in the industry possessing such a comprehensive understanding of government regulation regarding industry standards with the ability to apply that knowledge to gap closure recommendations.
